The local festival season is upon us, starting with the Ati-Atihan in Aklan on January 15 to 21; the Sinulog Festival in Cebu on January 21 to 28; and the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo on January 26 to 28.

You can expect a lot of walking (maybe even dancing) at a typical Philippine festival.

While it’s all right to bring a dressier pair of shoes for more formal venues or get-togethers, make sure the pairs you bring offer enough support and comfort for all your activities!

Pack a comfy, tailored pair of pants in a neutral color that you can match with any top or jacket for an effortless festival #OOTD.

You need at least one shirt or blouse that you can wear straight from the suitcase and won’t crease during the day.

When buying shirts for your upcoming trip, look for tops made of wrinkle-free or wrinkle-resistant fabrics like nylon, polyester, wool blends, or lyocell.

 

 

A carry-all bag
